Senior Mechanical/Piping Construction Engineer

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Engineer specializing in mechanical and piping disciplines to lead on‑site activities for a high‑profile client in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all on‑site mechanical and piping construction activities.
• Monitor project progress against schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and client specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.
• Report status and performance metrics to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a senior construction engineer in mechanical/piping projects.
• Strong experience managing on‑site activities for large‑scale oil, gas or energy projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
