Senior Meeting & Events Manager

About the role

Accor is seeking a Senior Meeting & Events Manager to lead the growth of its MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) portfolio in Dubai. The role focuses on generating new business, nurturing existing accounts, and converting opportunities into revenue for the hotel’s meetings, rooms, and food & beverage operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and develop new Meetings & Events business opportunities across corporate, government, DMC, PCO, agency and association segments.
• Conduct regular external sales calls, client appointments, sales blitzes, networking activities and client entertainment to generate leads.
• Maintain a qualified pipeline of prospect, tentative and confirmed MICE business and ensure consistent follow‑up to maximize conversion.
• Create individual account action plans with clear revenue potential and conversion objectives.
• Collaborate with the Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing to target low‑demand periods and optimise hotel occupancy.
• Drive Meetings & Events revenue, group room nights and Food & Beverage contribution through proactive sales and account development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior MICE sales or events management within the hospitality sector.
• Strong network with corporate, government and event agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to generate and convert leads into profitable contracts.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on revenue growth.
