Senior MEP Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior MEP Engineer to lead the mechanical, electrical and plumbing design and execution for high‑rise luxury residential projects in Dubai. The role involves coordinating consultants, supervising on‑site works, securing authority approvals and ensuring technical delivery aligns with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the MEP consultant team from concept through detailed design, ensuring coordination with architectural, structural and civil disciplines.
• Review design calculations, specifications and drawings, identify gaps and technical risks, and drive timely resolution.
• Conduct regular on‑site inspections, monitor MEP construction quality, and coordinate with contractors, suppliers and project teams.
• Approve shop drawings, material submittals and method statements, and ensure proper document control on site.
• Lead authority approval processes with DEWA, DCD, Dubai Municipality, Empower and other relevant bodies, tracking submissions and closing comments.
• Maintain overall MEP coordination, monitor progress, report delays and risks to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years (144 months) of experience in MEP engineering within the UAE construction sector.
• Proven track record on high‑rise luxury residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements and approval procedures.
• Ability to manage consultant teams and supervise on‑site execution.
