Senior NE Estimation Engineer

About the role

The Senior NE Estimation Engineer supports Otis UAE’s new‑equipment sales process. Working closely with sales engineers, the role drives cost estimation, engineering economics and integrated project cost control for elevator projects across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full estimation and sales‑administration support to New Equipment Sales Engineers.
• Review customer contracts, record them in internal systems and verify installation drawings.
• Calculate material quantities, manpower hours, duties, fees, tools and transportation costs to build accurate price lists.
• Identify supply sources from Otis factories and coordinate with factories, design engineers and sales teams to gather cost data.
• Prepare margin and buffer calculations to create competitive sales proposals.
• Release material orders based on approved drawings and maintain records through the E‑Logistic tool.
• Archive contract terms and generate monthly reports to spot trends.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in sales estimation, cost engineering or related fields.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and external suppliers.
• Familiarity with Otis internal procedures and documentation standards.
