Senior .NET Engineer (Forex/Trading) – Dubai

About the role

A confidential Dubai‑based fintech focused on online trading is expanding its engineering team. As a Senior .NET Engineer you will work on real‑time trading, payments and back‑office platforms where performance, security and reliability are critical.

Key responsibilities

• Build, enhance and maintain high‑performance .NET services (C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET Core).
• Develop and expose REST APIs for internal and external consumers.
• Integrate with trading platforms (MT4/MT5), bridge solutions and payment providers.
• Design for scalability and low latency in a real‑time environment.
• Improve security across services, applying best practices and secure integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with urgency.
• Contribute to code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines and maintain clean engineering standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on .NET engineering experience (C#, ASP.NET.NET Core).
• Strong MS SQL Server expertise with query optimisation and performance tuning.
• Mandatory experience in Forex/trading systems, including order execution, trading flows and platform integrations.
• Familiarity with MT4/MT5 and bridge integrations; FIX protocol is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to integrate third‑party APIs and payment gateways.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, calm under pressure and clear communication.
