Senior Network and Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior network and security engineer to design, implement and support enterprise‑grade network infrastructure for our clients in Dubai. The role combines hands‑on technical delivery with L2/L3 troubleshooting and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install and configure routing, switching and wireless solutions (Cisco routers, Catalyst, Meraki, Aruba switches).
• Deploy and manage firewalls and next‑generation firewalls such as Cisco Firepower, Meraki MX, ASA, with exposure to Checkpoint, Palo Alto and Fortinet.
• Implement network access control using Cisco ISE and Aruba ClearPass, including 802.1X, MAB, posture and TACACS+ policies.
• Prepare scope of work, implementation plans and conduct site surveys, migrations, cut‑overs and go‑live activities.
• Provide L2/L3 troubleshooting for bandwidth, latency, connectivity and authentication issues; perform device hardening, backups and health checks.
• Coordinate with ISPs, vendor TAC, NOC teams and field engineers to resolve incidents.
• Produce and maintain high‑level and low‑level design documents, as‑built diagrams, runbooks and test plans.
• Act as technical point of contact for customers, mentor junior engineers and support presales activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in enterprise network and security implementation or operations.
• Proven experience delivering multi‑site or branch network projects.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, NAT, DHCP, DNS and HSRP.

• VPN technologies: Site‑to‑Site, GRE, DMVPN, IPsec.
• ServiceNow, Salesforce or equivalent ticketing platforms.
