Senior Network Architect

About the role

DataOne is seeking a Senior Network Architect to lead the design, security and resilience of its enterprise network across Dubai and remote sites. The role ensures that the infrastructure supports critical applications and industrial systems with high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain target network architecture for LAN, WAN, data centers and remote locations.
• Design segmentation using VLAN, VRF and micro‑segmentation to separate IT, industrial, security and guest traffic.
• Develop routing, switching, wireless and inter‑connection solutions, including redundancy and fail‑over designs.
• Establish firewall policies, VPN, SD‑WAN and zero‑trust access controls.
• Implement network access controls such as 802.1X, RADIUS and certificate‑based authentication.
• Lead monitoring, alerting and incident management, acting as the final escalation point for complex issues.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management and compliance checks using Ansible or equivalent tools.
• Produce and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation, topologies, addressing plans and rack layouts.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and operating enterprise‑scale networks.
• Strong understanding of network security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Proven ability to lead proofs of concept, vendor evaluations and technical reviews.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to manage large‑scale change projects.
