Senior Network Planner – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

About the role

As a Senior Network Planner for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) you will drive the expansion and scaling of next‑generation cloud services. You will join the Global Network Planning Group, influencing network architecture, data‑center and subsea strategies across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business development initiatives by evaluating and selecting optimal data‑center partners and locations.
• Negotiate connectivity agreements and commercial deals that meet technical requirements and support growth.
• Develop total cost of ownership (TCO) models for deal analysis in new and existing markets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align long‑term subsea strategy with business objectives.
• Facilitate communication between OCI technical teams and subsea provider operations teams.
• Represent OCI to senior technical leaders and executives at partner companies.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with a diverse portfolio of subsea partners and data‑center operators.
• Stay informed about industry trends, mergers, acquisitions, and new market entrants in the subsea space.
• Document decisions and recommendations for internal technical leadership, VPs, and SVPs.

Required profile

• Career Level – IC4.
• Proven experience in network planning, subsea connectivity, and data‑center partner selection.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to craft favorable SLAs and pricing structures.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and present TCO models.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
