Senior Offshore Structural Designer

About the role

The Senior Offshore Structural Designer will lead the creation of 3‑D structural models and detailed engineering drawings for offshore oil and gas facilities. Working from our Abu Dhabi office, you will ensure designs meet project specifications, industry standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 3‑D offshore structural models and production drawings using SmartPlant 3D (S3D) and SmartSketch.
• Prepare material take‑offs (MTOs) and material requisitions for jackets, topsides, platforms, helidecks, bridges and equipment supports.
• Conduct model reviews, clash detection and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout Concept, FEED, EPC and EPIC phases.
• Review vendor drawings and integrate them into the project model.
• Support project teams in design verification and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of offshore structural design experience in the oil and gas sector.
• Proven ability to produce detailed drawings and material take‑offs for complex offshore structures.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
