Senior Offshore Structural Engineer

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Offshore Structural Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi office. The role focuses on the assessment, modification, strengthening and life‑extension of existing offshore platforms, jackets, topsides and related brownfield facilities, supporting ADNOC offshore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse existing drawings, calculations, SACS models, inspection records and survey data.
• Validate, update or reconstruct SACS models to reflect as‑built geometry, corrosion loss, marine growth, damage and previous modifications.
• Define load cases and combinations, interpreting metocean, geotechnical, weight‑control and installation inputs.
• Perform and check member, joint, deck, support, connection, pile and foundation calculations and produce detailed analysis reports.
• Provide engineering input, checking and technical coordination to ensure deliverables meet design intent, applicable codes and site constraints.

Required profile

• Valid OPITO‑approved T‑BOSIET/BOSIET and H₂S certifications with at least six months remaining.
• Willingness to travel to ADNOC offshore facilities for site surveys and data collection.
• Proven experience in offshore structural assessment, modification and life‑extension engineering.
