Senior Offshore Structure Engineer

About the role

Technip Energies is seeking a Senior Offshore Structure Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will lead the design and analysis of offshore structures for major energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of fixed offshore structures such as jackets, topsides, and driven/drilled/grouted piles.
• Develop and review designs for floating structures, including FPSO modules, offshore bridges, and flare structures.
• Perform structural analyses covering in‑service, pre‑service, and accidental scenarios (fatigue, pushover, load‑out, transportation, boat impact, seismic, blast).
• Coordinate with clients (ADNOC, ARAMCO, QP/QG) and manage vendor and subcontractor interactions.
• Ensure compliance with international offshore design codes and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (mandatory); Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of offshore structural engineering experience.
• Proven ability to lead design projects and modify existing structures.
• Strong knowledge of offshore codes such as API RP 2A, API RP 2EQ, ISO 19902, DNVGL‑RP‑C203, and AISC.
