Senior Patient Admin Executive

About the role

The Senior Patient Admin Executive will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at Royal Women Hospital Abu Dhabi, ensuring smooth registration, appointment scheduling, and financial processing while maintaining high standards of service and confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and direct them to the appropriate department, providing routine hospital information.
• Handle phone inquiries, screen calls, schedule appointments and register new patients.
• Verify insurance eligibility, collect co‑payments, process payments and issue claim forms.
• Maintain and update patient records in the Hospital Information System, ensuring data accuracy.
• Generate and process invoices, track outstanding balances and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Facilitate daily cash, credit‑card and cheque collections and ensure timely deposits.
• Manage patient complaints in a structured, courteous manner and contribute to service improvement.
• Support staff scheduling, attendance, uniform compliance and uphold infection‑control and patient‑safety policies.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, clinicians and staff.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry, billing and insurance verification.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment and adhere to NMC, JCI and privacy regulations.
• Experience in patient administration, front‑desk operations or medical billing preferred.
