Senior Piping Engineer – Offshore FEED Project

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to lead the piping design and engineering activities for an ADNOC offshore FEED project. The position will start in the contractor’s office in Abu Dhabi and, after administrative processing, will be based in an Asian country for 6‑8 months before returning to the UAE. The assignment runs until 2028 with possible extension.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review piping design basis, material specifications, class specifications and line designation tables.
• Produce general arrangement drawings, plot plans, equipment layouts and detailed piping layout drawings.
• Prepare material requisitions, material take‑offs, valve specifications and line lists ensuring compliance with ADNOC offshore standards and international codes.
• Deliver FEED‑stage documentation including piping philosophies, design criteria, layout studies, tie‑in packages and constructability reviews.
• Participate in 3‑D model reviews, layout optimisation workshops and routing coordination to meet space, safety and weight constraints.
• Support scope definition, cost estimation and engineering report preparation within project schedules.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in offshore piping engineering and FEED projects within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC offshore standards, project specifications, international piping codes and HSE requirements.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality engineering deliverables and to work in multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations.
