Senior Piping Engineer – Offshore

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer to join its offshore engineering team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves travelling to ADNOC offshore facilities on a rotational basis to conduct site surveys, support brownfield assessments and gather engineering data for design and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Design and engineer piping systems, supports, routing, isometrics and related components.
• Develop and review piping design basis, material specifications, datasheets and technical bid evaluations.
• Perform and supervise piping stress analyses, thermal expansion, vibration and non‑metallic piping assessments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASME, API) and project‑specific requirements.
• Review and approve technical deliverables such as isometrics, P&IDs, BOMs, MOC/Change Notes and design change requests.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (process, mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation) and vendors to deliver integrated piping solutions.
• Act as the single point of contact for all piping deliverables and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Valid OPITO‑approved T‑BOSIET/BOSIET and H₂S certifications with at least six months validity.
• Proven offshore piping engineering experience, preferably in brownfield projects.
• Ability to travel on a rotational schedule and work on site at offshore installations.
• Strong communication skills to interface with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
