Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

The Senior Planning Engineer will lead scheduling, delay analysis and time‑management activities for major building construction projects in Abu Dhabi. This role ensures that project plans align with client requirements and that any schedule impacts are identified and mitigated promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master baseline schedules using Primavera P6 for building construction projects.
• Track project progress, evaluate critical‑path variances and prepare performance and delay reports.
• Perform detailed delay analyses and compile substantiation packages for Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
• Coordinate with project management, site engineers and subcontractors to balance resource allocation and cost controls.
• Identify potential schedule bottlenecks and formulate proactive mitigation strategies to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of UAE construction experience, preferably on new building projects.
• Prior experience with ALDAR approvals is an advantage.
