Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

The Senior Planning Engineer will lead the development, maintenance and control of project schedules for the ADNOC Offshore CED FEED project. Reporting to project management, the role ensures that engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and hand‑over activities are accurately planned and tracked in line with ADNOC Offshore requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) covering all EPC phases.
• Prepare Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and detailed execution schedules using Primavera P6.
• Establish project baselines and monitor schedule performance against approved targets.
• Create work breakdown structures (WBS), coding structures and project calendars.
• Align contractor, subcontractor, vendor and client schedules to ensure seamless integration.
• Monitor progress, identify variances and analyse critical‑path activities.
• Prepare recovery and acceleration plans to mitigate delays.
• Conduct trend analysis and forecast final completion dates.
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, S‑curves, manpower histograms and KPI reports.
• Generate earned‑value reports and schedule performance indicators.
• Perform delay analysis, schedule risk assessments and evaluate change‑order impacts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning and scheduling for offshore FEED projects.
• Familiarity with ADNOC Offshore requirements and project‑control processes.
• Ability to work across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and hand‑over phases.
