Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

Decima International is looking for a Senior Planning Engineer to lead planning activities for multiple data‑center projects for a leading technology client. The role is client‑facing, based onsite in Dubai, and requires strong technical expertise in project scheduling and coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with technical and senior management stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on project progress, insights and recommendations.
• Review project plans, specifications and requirements for alignment with objectives.
• Develop and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), CPM baseline schedules and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• Perform resource and cost loading within schedules and conduct resource analysis to identify constraints.
• Maintain and update weekly and monthly schedules and reporting outputs.
• Review and validate schedules from contractors, consultants and vendors for feasibility and compliance.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven experience in planning and scheduling for large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder presentations.
• Ability to analyse complex schedules, identify bottlenecks and propose optimisation.
