Senior Planning Engineer

About the role

The Senior Planning Engineer will lead the development, update and monitoring of project schedules for construction programmes in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with project managers, site teams and procurement to ensure that plans reflect scope, resources and realistic timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Identify critical paths, forecast potential delays and propose corrective actions.
• Produce progress reports, variance analysis and productivity assessments.
• Coordinate resource loading, procurement schedules and site execution plans.
• Support tender and pre‑construction planning, including baseline schedule preparation.
• Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 8‑15 years of project planning and scheduling experience in the UAE or GCC, preferably on building, civil and MEP projects.
• Proven ability to work on‑site, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Advanced analytical and project control capabilities.
