Senior Planning Engineer – MEP

About the role

The Planning Engineer – MEP will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery of MEP installations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules in Primavera P6 covering MEP installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate activity sequencing and resource availability.
• Monitor progress against milestones, issue weekly/monthly reports, and implement corrective actions for delays.
• Identify, assess, and incorporate schedule changes, analyzing impacts on timelines and costs.
• Support budget preparation, track expenditures, and report variances.
• Identify MEP‑related risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support contingency planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of planning and scheduling experience on MEP systems in large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire‑fighting systems.
