Senior Planning Engineer – Site

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this site‑focused role you will ensure efficient execution of construction projects by developing, maintaining and optimising project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Analyse project timelines, resources and dependencies to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers and subcontractors to gather accurate information for schedule updates.
• Monitor project progress and report variances between planned and actual performance.
• Prepare and present periodic progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting milestones and risks.
• Conduct resource analysis and optimisation to ensure efficient utilisation of manpower and equipment.
• Assist in developing recovery plans when projects fall behind schedule.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to decision‑making processes.
• Maintain accurate records of all planning‑related documents and revisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in construction planning and scheduling.
