Senior Planning Manager – EPC Projects

About the role

The Senior Planning Manager will lead all planning, scheduling and progress‑measurement activities for the Hail & Ghasha plant construction project. Reporting to senior project leadership, the role ensures that the EPC schedule complies with ADNOC standards, Technip Energies procedures and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Level 1‑5 schedules in Primavera P6, integrating engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning into a master EPC schedule.
• Establish and control the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) in line with ADNOC and company guidelines.
• Identify critical‑path activities, monitor milestones and manage interfaces across multiple work packages and subcontractors.
• Implement project progress measurement systems, produce weekly and monthly S‑curve reports, analyse variances and propose corrective actions.
• Lead site planning teams to create micro‑schedules, manpower histograms, resource leveling and productivity analyses for civil, structural, mechanical, piping, E&I and pre‑commissioning works.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning managers to ensure schedule alignment and timely information flow.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in planning and scheduling for large‑scale EPC projects in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and interface with subcontractors and client representatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in schedule risk analysis and recovery planning.
