Senior Process Engineer Offshore

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Process Engineer (Offshore) to join its engineering team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role can be placed within the Core Engineering Team or a Project Management Team, overseeing process engineering activities for major oil and gas or petrochemical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and control FEED engineers in developing process simulations, PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, and pump sizing.
• Perform line and centrifugal pump sizing, heat and material balances to ensure accurate FEED outputs.
• Review and comment on FEED deliverables, ensuring timely resolution and implementation.
• Manage and delegate tasks to junior process personnel as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of overall experience, with at least 8 years in process engineering for large oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Prior PMC experience in a similar senior role is preferred.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and related procedures is advantageous.
• BSc degree in Chemical, Process, Gas or Oil Engineering.
• Member of a relevant professional engineering organization.
