Senior Procurement Engineer

About the role

Gradiant is seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer to lead end‑to‑end procurement for all UAE projects and service contracts. The role will act as the single point of accountability for procurement strategy, sourcing decisions, and supplier performance, ensuring competitive, cost‑effective, and compliant delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales, proposal, and operations teams to provide accurate, competitive supplier quotations and support bid preparation.
• Develop and execute UAE‑wide sourcing strategies that align with business growth, P&L targets, and industry verticals.
• Oversee timely procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services, coordinating closely with execution leads.
• Establish and maintain preferred supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and implement dual‑sourcing and contingency plans to mitigate risk.
• Directly manage UAE procurement specialists and administrators, allocating workload and fostering capability through training and mentoring.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in procurement leadership, preferably within industrial or water‑treatment projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop procurement teams.
• Strong negotiation, supplier relationship, and risk‑mitigation skills.
• Strategic mindset with experience developing sourcing strategies that drive cost efficiency.
