Senior Procurement Engineer

About the role

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer to lead the planning, coordination and execution of procurement activities that support its business objectives in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures that purchasing decisions meet quality, cost, inventory and service level standards while aligning with the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders in SAP and Oracle following procurement policies.
• Source and evaluate domestic and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing and quality.
• Generate weekly reports on open purchase orders and requisitions.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, finalize agreements and expedite shipments.
• Manage vendor relationships, monitor performance and resolve pricing or availability issues.
• Oversee yearly contracts and blank orders with suppliers.
• Handle employee accommodation bookings and liaise with HSE teams for inspections.
• Provide administrative, reporting and coordination support to the Supply Chain department.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical offers.
• Solid understanding of gas compression processes.
