Senior Procurement Officer – Engineering & Facilities

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will lead end‑to‑end procurement activities for engineering and facilities within flydubai, ensuring cost‑effective acquisitions that align with company policies and budgetary guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review procurement requirements with internal departments and prepare RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents.
• Manage the full procurement cycle – source, evaluate, negotiate and secure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Process purchase requisitions, bid documents and purchase orders in line with internal controls.
• Evaluate supplier performance using metrics such as delivery reliability, quality and pricing consistency.
• Oversee contract lifecycle activities including amendments, renewals and extensions.
• Conduct financial evaluations of vendor proposals and present commercial assessments.
• Coordinate technical evaluations with business units and subject‑matter experts.
• Prepare award documentation, maintain vendor records and support the approved vendor list.
• Produce dashboards and KPI reports on procurement performance.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and provide first‑level system support.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage the complete procurement cycle.
• Experience in financial evaluation of vendor proposals.
• Knowledge of contract lifecycle management and supplier performance monitoring.
• Strong analytical skills for KPI tracking and reporting.
