Senior Program Manager – Philanthropic

About the role

The Senior Program Manager will lead the foundation’s philanthropic agenda, working closely with the Principal to translate strategic vision into tangible impact. This role combines strategic planning, grant‑making, ecosystem development and partnership building across education and technology initiatives in emerging markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the foundation’s mission.
• Lead grant‑making processes, including due‑diligence, assessment and monitoring.
• Build and nurture strategic partnerships with NGOs, other foundations and donor networks.
• Drive ecosystem development for tech‑for‑good and educational projects.
• Provide consistent support to the Principal and represent the foundation in high‑level engagements.
• Travel frequently to target regions (LATAM, Africa, MENA, South Asia) and coordinate on‑ground activities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in grant‑making and partnership development, preferably within a foundation or founder‑led organization.
• Demonstrated experience with tech‑for‑good initiatives or educational philanthropy.
• Strong due‑diligence and grant assessment capabilities.
• Hands‑on experience in emerging markets such as LATAM, Africa, MENA or South Asia.
• Willingness to travel regularly and be based in Abu Dhabi from September to May.
