Senior Project Engineer – Onshore Mega EPC Projects

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with extensive on‑shore experience in mega EPC projects. The role will be based in Abu Dhabi and will support a PMC project for a major oil and gas facility. You will coordinate day‑to‑day engineering activities, spare‑parts logistics and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Control and monitor site execution activities within the assigned project scope.
• Ensure effective multidisciplinary alignment among the Contractor, Sub‑contractors, Operations, Engineering, Commissioning and other stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress against the approved/revised schedule and support completion, handover, pre‑commissioning and commissioning phases.
• Lead and participate in site meetings, technical discussions, progress reviews and site walk‑downs, providing concise reporting and escalating critical risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or related engineering discipline.
• 12‑15+ years of Oil & Gas project experience, preferably on EPC/EPCM mega projects.
• Previous experience on ADNOC or PMC projects is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary activities from construction through commissioning and handover.
