Senior Project Manager – ADEK School Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of ADEK school projects (Years K‑12) and other community and residential buildings in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Programme Director, you will oversee the full project lifecycle from pre‑contract stages through procurement, award and design‑build execution.

Key responsibilities

• Implement a high‑level project management framework and project execution plan.
• Guide the team in producing, reviewing and approving the project execution plan and master programme.
• Define and enforce criteria for project control and management, ensuring alignment with the work breakdown structure.
• Monitor progress, update the master programme, and lead delay‑mitigation strategies with stakeholders.
• Ensure the contract programme is reviewed, approved and regularly updated.
• Lead time‑control processes, early‑warning reviews and change management.
• Establish and chair a formal risk management process, maintain the risk register and drive mitigation actions.
• Take responsibility for the technical and commercial performance of the engagement.

Required profile

• Recent, demonstrable experience managing ADEK school projects (K‑12) in Abu Dhabi.
• Proven delivery experience of community buildings, low‑rise apartments and high‑end villas.
• Ability to lead a Project Management team through all project phases.
• Strong reporting and stakeholder‑engagement skills, reporting to senior programme leadership.
