Senior Project Manager – Industrial

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead industrial projects for ADNOC Distribution in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing projects from award through hand‑over, ensuring they meet the highest health, safety and environmental standards while delivering on scope, quality, cost and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and guide the management of assigned projects, supervising Project Managers and coordinating with contractors and sub‑contractors.
• Develop, maintain and apply policies, procedures and standards for project management and construction activities.
• Prepare and review project schedules, cost estimates and budgets, and monitor their implementation.
• Establish project organization, allocate manpower and mobilise resources to achieve project objectives.
• Select and pre‑qualify sub‑contractors and suppliers, evaluate bids and manage site logistics.
• Define detailed statements of requirements, scope of work and implementation strategies for each project phase.
• Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Negotiate claims, variations and back‑charges with contractors and vendors, driving cost‑effective solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale industrial or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Ability to develop and enforce project management policies and procedures.
• Excellent budgeting, scheduling and cost‑control capabilities.
• Leadership skills to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in contractor and supplier selection and management.
