Senior Project Manager

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major on‑shore gas storage project from concept through detailed engineering and EPC support. The role provides overall leadership to multidisciplinary engineering teams and serves as the primary client interface.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of large‑scale on‑shore gas storage projects in line with contractual requirements.
• Develop and implement Project Execution Plans, ensuring scope, budget, schedule and quality targets are met.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams during FEED and detailed design phases.
• Act as single point of contact for the client, coordinating reviews, progress meetings and executive presentations.
• Oversee engineering deliverables for storage facilities, compression systems, gas processing, pipelines, utilities and off‑sites.
• Control project budgets, forecasts, profitability and resource utilization.
• Identify and manage risks, variations and commercial negotiations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading on‑shore gas storage or similar energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong client‑facing and stakeholder management abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to manage budgets, schedules and commercial performance.
• Solid understanding of HSE, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership and team coordination skills.
