Senior Project Manager – PMO Banking Entity

About the role

The Senior Project Manager – PMO will lead the planning, execution, and governance of multiple banking projects across the organization. You will coordinate with internal departments and external service providers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards. The role demands strong oversight of schedules, risks, resources, and stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track project schedules, communication plans, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
• Determine resource requirements and recommend appropriate sourcing levels.
• Manage project plans, work plans, timesheets, schedules, and status reports.
• Coordinate between project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely information flow.
• Analyze processes for improvement opportunities and develop action plans.
• Escalate issues to the Relationship Manager with viable solutions.
• Oversee service providers and contractors to ensure compliance with scope, quality, and timelines.
• Lead RFP processes for projects, ensuring quality services and budget adherence.
• Maintain project documentation according to the established PMO methodology.
• Review and adjust project plans as circumstances change.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management and agile practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple simultaneous projects of varying complexity.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and external partners.
• Excellent analytical skills for process improvement and risk management.
• Effective communication skills to provide visibility to stakeholders.
