Senior Project Manager – Power Substation

About the role

The Senior Project Manager – Power Substation will lead end‑to‑end delivery of high‑voltage substation projects in Sharjah. You will be responsible for planning, execution, commissioning and handover while ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules and budgets aligned with client objectives.
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Serve as the primary liaison for clients, consultants, contractors and government authorities.
• Mentor and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians and site staff.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies and resolve technical or administrative issues.
• Monitor financial performance, control costs and ensure profitability.
• Oversee contract negotiations, vendor performance and dispute resolution.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies, regulatory standards and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience managing high‑voltage substation or similar power infrastructure projects.
• Proven leadership in multi‑stakeholder environments and strong decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present progress reports to senior management.
