Senior Project Manager – Premium & Select (MEA)

About the role

The Senior Project Manager, Premium & Select (MEA) leads design oversight for Marriott International’s premium and select hotel portfolio across the Middle East & Africa. Reporting to the Senior Director, the role ensures projects meet brand standards, quality, schedule and budget while supporting both franchised and company‑owned assets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver renovation and new‑development projects from concept through opening, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and operational requirements.
• Review architectural designs, back‑of‑house layouts and operational adjacencies, providing design direction and quality assurance.
• Manage design consultants, proposals and project objectives, and support construction phases with reviews and approvals.
• Conduct feasibility analyses, early‑stage project evaluations and market assessments for assigned assets.
• Coordinate with Global Design Accounting to monitor budgets, prepare fee estimates and ensure financial compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, franchisees and internal stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular project updates, support senior‑leadership presentations and contribute to continuous improvement of brand standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in hotel design and project management within a multinational hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously across diverse markets.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the capacity to communicate effectively with owners, franchisees and internal teams.
• Solid understanding of brand compliance, operational adjacencies and design quality standards.
