Senior Project Manager / Senior Resident Engineer – Buildings

About the role

Connexa Recruitment is partnering with an award‑winning international architectural design practice to find a Senior Project Manager / Senior Resident Engineer for a complex building site in Dubai. The role is site‑based and responsible for delivering the project on time, within budget and to the required quality standards while coordinating with clients, stakeholders and the project team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage project plans, timelines and budgets, including site assessments and feasibility studies.
• Lead and mentor the site‑based project team, facilitate communication with stakeholders and delegate tasks.
• Prepare, monitor and control project budgets, provide financial forecasts and regular reports.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, community representatives and authorities, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Oversee quality assurance, conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks, implement contingency plans and resolve issues to keep the project on schedule.
• Ensure complete and accurate project documentation and deliver status reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and professional qualification (LLM, Chartered Engineer or MRICS).
• Minimum 20 years of experience in project management and engineering, with strong contracts administration on site‑based projects.
• Proven track record in budgeting, scheduling and quality management for large‑scale developments.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with knowledge of industry regulations and safety protocols.
