Senior Project Manager / Service Delivery Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager / Service Delivery Manager to lead the mobilisation, transition and ongoing service management for a major client in the UAE. You will coordinate multidisciplinary onsite and offshore teams, ensuring seamless delivery and continuous improvement of IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain mobilisation, transition and service management plans, tracking dependencies, risks, milestones and readiness criteria.
• Lead Blackstone’s multidisciplinary team, aligning priorities with the EIT Project Manager and key stakeholders.
• Manage service reviews, SLA/KPI reporting, risk and issue escalation, and drive continuous service improvement.
• Govern incidents, problems, changes and service requests through established ITSM processes.
• Coordinate onboarding, knowledge transfer, access readiness, documentation and operational handover activities.
• Produce accurate monthly service reports, decision logs, dependency tracking and executive updates.
• Control scope changes, assess material impacts and ensure governance compliance.
• Collaborate with technical practices and third‑party specialists as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of IT delivery experience, including at least 3 years leading managed‑services or multi‑domain support teams.
• Proven experience managing SLA‑based services, customer governance, escalations and operational reporting.
• Strong written and verbal English; Arabic is strongly preferred for client‑facing interactions.
• Previous experience delivering services to UAE government entities and knowledge of TDRA hosting and approval processes is advantageous.

Required skills

• ITIL 4 Managing Professional (or equivalent service‑management certification).
• PMP certification (preferred).
• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification (preferred).
