Senior Quantity Surveyor – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our award‑winning team on a major Abu Dhabi project. The role focuses on implementing cost control and financial procedures in line with construction contracts, ensuring project budgets are protected. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and contractors to ensure financial performance aligns with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement commercial and contractual matters within a multidisciplinary team.
• Analyse project variations and changes, prepare reports and adjust budgets as needed.
• Measure works on site and from drawings, using electronic measurement systems.
• Evaluate contractor’s monthly interim payment applications and assess claims.
• Interpret contract conditions and identify project risks.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost control.
• Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying.
• Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic measurement systems.
• Knowledge of the Standard Method of Measurement for construction works.
