Senior RBI Engineer – Offshore Asset Integrity

About the role

KBR is seeking a highly experienced Senior RBI Engineer to lead offshore asset integrity management. You will develop, implement and maintain Risk‑Based Inspection (RBI) programs for pressure equipment and piping systems, ensuring reliability and compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain RBI assessments for offshore facilities using API 580 and API 581 methodologies.
• Conduct qualitative, semi‑quantitative and quantitative RBI studies for vessels, piping, heat exchangers, tanks and related equipment.
• Establish optimized inspection strategies and intervals based on risk profiles.
• Review and update RBI assessments based on inspection findings, operational changes and corrosion monitoring data.
• Perform integrity assessments, develop inspection plans, corrosion control programs and fitness‑for‑service evaluations.
• Analyse NDT results, corrosion monitoring data and remaining‑life calculations.
• Identify damage mechanisms and support turnaround inspection planning and execution.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in offshore asset integrity and RBI program management.
• Strong knowledge of API 580 and API 581 standards.
• Proven ability to coordinate with inspection, corrosion, operations, maintenance and engineering teams.
• Commitment to ensuring compliance with applicable industry codes and standards.
