Senior RBI Engineer – Offshore

About the role

The Senior RBI Engineer will lead offshore asset integrity initiatives by developing, implementing and maintaining Risk‑Based Inspection (RBI) programs. This role supports the reliability of pressure equipment and piping systems throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain RBI assessments for offshore facilities using API 580 and API 581 methodologies.
• Conduct qualitative, semi‑quantitative and quantitative RBI studies for pressure vessels, piping, heat exchangers, tanks and related equipment.
• Establish optimized inspection strategies and intervals based on risk profiles.
• Review and continuously update RBI assessments based on inspection findings, operational changes and corrosion monitoring data.
• Perform integrity assessments of static equipment and piping systems.
• Develop inspection plans, corrosion control programs and fitness‑for‑service assessments.
• Review inspection reports, NDT results, corrosion monitoring data and remaining‑life calculations.
• Identify damage mechanisms affecting equipment and support turnaround inspections.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in asset integrity and risk‑based inspection, preferably in offshore oil & gas environments.
• Proven ability to collaborate with inspection, corrosion, operations, maintenance and engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (API, ASME).
