Senior Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking reports to the Head/Deputy Head of the Marketing Department and is responsible for driving new‑to‑bank business, managing syndicate and corporate client relationships, originating credit facilities and overseeing post‑lending risk throughout the life‑cycle of each deal.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the syndicate and corporate markets.
• Maintain active relationships with existing customers and syndicate banks.
• Research, evaluate and structure corporate finance and project finance transactions.
• Prepare and submit credit proposals for origination and secure approvals.
• Lead customer due‑diligence activities, including AML/TFS compliance.
• Monitor approved credit facilities, conduct ongoing credit risk analysis and flag potential defaults.
• Coordinate approval processes and manage documentation filing and archiving.
• Collaborate with external financial service providers, contractors and professional advisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in syndicate and bilateral lending origination, documentation and relationship management.
• Extensive network with lead syndicate banks and major corporates in the UAE market.
• Strong analytical abilities and a solid understanding of DFSA rules and UAE market practice.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills in English; Mandarin is a plus.
