Senior Relationship Manager

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will manage and deepen complex, multi‑product group relationships while originating new business opportunities across the bank’s product suite. The role involves close collaboration with clients and internal product teams to structure solutions, execute mandated transactions and ensure optimal utilization of credit facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular portfolio reviews and recommend credit facilities aligned with the bank’s policies and risk appetite to maximize risk‑adjusted returns.
• Develop and implement tailored relationship strategies and account plans, driving cross‑selling and penetration initiatives to meet financial and non‑financial KPIs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers, positioning the bank as a trusted financial partner.
• Maintain a robust business pipeline, focusing on new‑to‑bank opportunities and market‑share expansion within designated sectors.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations, internal credit, operational and risk management policies, and relevant legal frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Treasury, Operations, Risk Management, Product Partners and Retail Banking to maximize business opportunities and manage risk.

Required profile

• Proven experience in credit risk assessment, risk rating, and facility structuring for corporate relationships.
• Strong business development and relationship‑management capabilities with a focus on delivering client satisfaction.
• Deep understanding of macro‑economic trends, industry dynamics and their impact on credit quality.
• Ability to develop and execute relationship strategies, account plans and cross‑selling initiatives.
• Experience coordinating with internal teams (Treasury, Operations, Risk, etc.) to ensure effective execution of transactions.
• Commitment to regulatory compliance and adherence to the bank’s policies and procedures.
