Senior Research Associate

About the role

Based in Dubai, the Senior Research Associate will lead the R&D portfolio for the Himalaya Baby Care franchise, driving new product and existing product development from concept to launch. Reporting to the Head of Skin Sciences, you will translate unmet consumer and healthcare professional needs into scientifically‑backed product concepts and compelling claims.

Key responsibilities

• Own the R&D pipeline for new and existing baby care products, ensuring clear differentiation and competitive positioning.
• Partner with brand teams to define target profiles, technical requirements and innovation priorities.
• Analyse market trends, scientific literature, consumer insights and HCP perspectives to identify unmet needs.
• Scout emerging technologies, ingredients and scientific advances to enrich the innovation pipeline.
• Develop regulatory‑compliant claims, reasons‑to‑believe and evidence‑generation strategies, including design and interpretation of clinical studies.
• Translate complex clinical and technical data into clear communication for consumers, healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
• Review artwork and communication materials for alignment with substantiation plans and scientific evidence.
• Support medical marketing with doctor‑detailing materials, FAQs and educational content.
• Maintain master repositories for actives, clinical evidence, claims grids and related assets.

Required profile

• PhD, MD, PharmD or Master’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Life Sciences, Medical Marketing or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of infant skin biology and baby‑care rituals.
• Proven ability to turn complex scientific data into compelling consumer and HCP narratives.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape governing baby‑care products and claims.
