Senior Sales Engineer – Fire Detection Systems

About the role

Johnson Controls India is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead application support for its fire detection portfolio across the Middle East. Based in Dubai, you will work closely with the Director FD Technical Support and act as the technical bridge between sales teams, consultants, distributors and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide product support and application engineering for the full range of JCI fire detection and Voice/PAVA systems.
• Use JCI fire detection software tools to design solutions that meet customer requirements and comply with EN, BS, NFPA and UL standards.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, inside sales, marketing, training and R&D to drive growth initiatives.
• Communicate technical information to consultants, designers, project managers and end‑users.
• Assist in achieving annual sales targets and prepare technical presentations and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent proven experience in fire detection.
• 3‑5 years of experience selling fire detection products in the UAE market.
• Strong knowledge of fire and voice alarm design standards such as BS5839 and NFPA.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Self‑motivated problem‑solver with the ability to work autonomously.
