Senior Site Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Architect to lead architectural supervision on active construction sites, ensuring design intent, specifications and material standards are met. The role involves close coordination with all engineering disciplines and on‑site quality control.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve engineering submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and technical proposals.
• Verify coordinated drawings across architectural, structural, MEP, landscape and specialist systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections of architectural works, finishes, mock‑ups and installations.
• Monitor construction progress, identify design discrepancies and raise technical queries.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and internal teams to resolve site issues and maintain workflow.
• Review material samples and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Prepare site reports, inspection logs, NCRs/SORs and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support project handover activities including snagging, de‑snagging and final inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10–12 years of experience in architectural site supervision on large‑scale projects such as residential or hotel towers.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, etc.).
• Proven experience reviewing shop drawings, coordinated drawings and technical submissions.
• Excellent understanding of architectural detailing, finishes and construction methodologies.
• Strong coordination and leadership abilities.
