Senior Site Architect

About the role

ATI, an award‑winning multidisciplinary architectural and engineering firm, is seeking a full‑time Senior Site Architect to lead the architectural and interior design construction administration of mid‑scale to large, high‑end projects in Dubai. The role requires strong organisational abilities, technical expertise and leadership to ensure design intent, quality and safety are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all on‑site architectural works, from structural blockwork to luxury interior finishes.
• Supervise daily activities of contractors and subcontractors, resolving site issues proactively.
• Review and approve contractor submissions (shop drawings, material submittals, samples, method statements, mock‑ups) for compliance with design, specifications and codes.
• Assess design modifications and value‑engineering proposals, ensuring documentation aligns with overall design intent.
• Oversee construction documents on site, guaranteeing use of the latest approved revisions.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks on finishes such as masonry, waterproofing, cladding, partitions, ceilings, joinery, stone, tiling, metal works, glazing and bespoke fit‑outs.
• Respond to RFIs promptly with clear technical instructions and sketches.
• Monitor progress against the approved program, identify delays and support recovery measures.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers and authorities to resolve technical issues and secure approvals.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, building codes, fire & life safety, accessibility and other statutory regulations.
