Senior Site Engineer

About the role

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for supervising and executing on‑site construction activities to ensure the successful delivery of our new project in Abu Dhabi. You’ll coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and consultants to monitor progress, maintain quality standards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support the planning of construction activities, determining labour and material requirements to meet project deadlines.
• Manage workers and monitor the operation of loaders for backfilling, ensuring compaction test compliance.
• Coordinate and communicate drawings with workers for woodwork, obtaining required approvals and avoiding discrepancies.
• Draft progress and variation reports to maintain an accurate information system.
• Intervene when needed to monitor compliance with standards and client expectations.
• Conduct maintenance and safety procedures, schedule services, and supply materials required to keep machines and equipment in prescribed condition.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the UAE, preferably on tourism and hospitality projects.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Proficiency in CAD software – Autodesk AutoCAD.
