Senior Software Engineer – Calypso (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer specialized in Calypso to join our Dubai team. You will work on front‑to‑back implementation of trading and risk solutions across multiple asset classes in a capital‑markets environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Calypso (v15.2+) architecture and APIs.
• Implement trading, risk (ERS, Limits, VaR) and multi‑asset class functionality.
• Integrate Calypso with market data providers such as Bloomberg and Reuters, and with downstream systems like TOMS and Deal Tracker.
• Configure front‑office and back‑office Calypso modules, including market data and curve setups.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless settlement, P&L, and accounting processes.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of professional experience in financial software development.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Calypso (v15.2+) and its data model.
• Proficiency in Java (1.7+) with solid OOP, collections and multithreading knowledge.
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and JBoss application server.
• Demonstrated ability to work on complex risk‑management and derivative products.
