Senior Software Engineer – .NET & Enterprise Systems

About the role

The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and support enterprise applications that enable HBMSU’s digital transformation. The role focuses on .NET‑based solutions, integration with the Student Information System (Ellucian Banner), CRM platforms and contact‑center tools, ensuring secure and scalable services for academic and administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse functional and technical requirements and translate them into secure, scalable .NET solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC and API‑based architectures.
• Implement integrations with Ellucian Banner (or equivalent SIS) and enterprise CRM systems such as Salesforce and ServiceNow.
• Integrate contact‑center and communication platforms including Genesys Cloud, Microsoft Teams and Twilio to support omni‑channel service delivery.
• Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services, including SSO and identity management.
• Adopt cloud‑native services on AWS or Microsoft Azure, implement automation, CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments.
• Monitor application performance, perform testing (unit, integration, regression, UAT) and provide second‑level support for incidents.
• Maintain technical documentation, system designs and ensure compliance with information security policies and Dubai Government regulations.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of enterprise software development experience with a strong focus on .NET technologies.
• Proven experience integrating Student Information Systems, preferably Ellucian Banner.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise CRM platforms (Salesforce, ServiceNow) and contact‑center solutions (Genesys, Teams, Twilio).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or Azure) and modern DevOps practices.
• Ability to work within established governance frameworks and collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity and business stakeholders.
