Senior Solution Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design of resilient, reliable, secure and high‑performing applications in Dubai. The role works closely with the Head of Architecture and collaborates with delivery leads across business domains to translate functional needs into robust technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect end‑to‑end solutions for backend, frontend, mobile, APIs, message brokers, event streams and microservices.
• Define and maintain architecture standards, guidelines and best practices for container‑based and cloud‑native environments.
• Produce high‑level designs, design patterns and solution blueprints that balance performance, reliability, security and user experience.
• Participate in Agile planning cycles, sprint activities and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.
• Embed cybersecurity and information‑security best practices into all solution designs.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience delivering complex solutions across backend, frontend and mobile platforms.
• Strong background in banking, payments, lending or related financial services; corporate banking exposure is a plus.
• Proven track record of leading at least three projects involving microservices and API‑centric ecosystems.
• Ability to communicate architectural trade‑offs clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
