Senior Specialist / Consultant – Dermatologist

About the role

A prestigious Government Healthcare Facility in the UAE is looking for an experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant Dermatologist to join its expanding medical team. This full‑time position offers the chance to provide comprehensive dermatological care within a well‑established public‑sector environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and follow‑up a wide range of medical and surgical dermatology cases.
• Develop individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans and perform appropriate dermatological procedures.
• Manage complex acute and chronic skin conditions, including inflammatory, infectious, autoimmune and pigmentary disorders.
• Interpret diagnostic investigations and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in clinical meetings, audits and quality‑improvement programs.
• Contribute to teaching, supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Dermatology (e.g., UK CCT, American Board, Australian Board, South African Board, or other internationally recognized credentials).
• Significant post‑specialty clinical experience in dermatology.
• Strong clinical judgment, decision‑making and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
