Senior Specialist - Data Modelling

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Specialist in Data Modelling to lead the design and implementation of the Central Bank’s enterprise data model. The role will focus on reducing redundancy, improving data migration and supporting decision‑making across the bank and its subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Define conceptual, logical and physical data models for the Central Bank and its subsidiaries.
• Develop and deploy the core data model on the new Enterprise Data Management platform, enhancing data quality, integrity, access and security.
• Establish modelling standards and oversee the creation of conceptual models for banking technology platforms, data lakes and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, DBAs and business leads to translate business requirements into robust data structures.
• Train examiners and staff on data platforms and ensure compliance with banking and financial regulations.
• Act as a brand ambassador in all internal and external interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data architecture and data modelling, with at least 5 years in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of banking and financial regulations and international best practices.
• Proven ability to set performance goals and drive continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Hands‑on expertise in Snowflake.
• Design of star schemas and data‑lake architectures (HDFS).
• Advanced data modelling and data architecture capabilities.
